Welcome to our Croxley Junior Coaching page.
We aim to use this page as a platform to share information about our Junior Events, our Junior Development programs and our up and coming Junior Talent at Croxley. As head coach at Croxley Tennis Club one of my main responsibilities is to head up our Junior Programs and ensure we create exciting and inclusive opportunities for our Junior Players.
The coaching programme at Croxley TC aims to provide your child with a lifelong love of the game. We encourage players of all ages/abilities with enjoyment of the game being enhanced through high quality coaching & competitive opportunities in a friendly & supportive environment. We are dedicated to the ongoing development of a programme that can meet the needs of our Junior members & the Croxley community. Junior Tournament Memories
Rak Attak is one our most popular Junior Programs. Rak Attak is a fun session full of skill builders, tennis games & activities.
Rak Attak's objective is to provide a good introduction to the game & can also supplement the squad programme.
Our sessions inlude the supply of racquets and balls and are supervised accordingly.
Sessions take place on Saturdays, 2-3pm for children aged 4-8 years. Cost £3 member, £4 nonmember.
One to one coaching is a great way to fast track your improvement. It allows the coach to develop the areas of your game that are most important to you! Tennis is a very challenging game to master so individual lessons are a great way to get started & improve over a period of time.
Lots of players like to supplement their squad sessions with individuals to get the best of both worlds. Individual lessons will accelerate learning, improve confidence, help master technique & give increased focus to squad & practice sessions. Lesson duration is dependent on age/concentration level & consist of 30 minute (£11), 45 minute (£16) & 60 minute (£22) sessions.
This very program runs term time Monday - Friday 4-6pm for children aged 5-18 years.
We offer groups at Mini Tennis Red, Orange, Green & Junior (Yellow ball) level. Squads consist of similar age/ability level children & focus on the development of technique & tactics.
Twice per term we run Matchplay events that allow your child to put their skills to the test in a relaxed & friendly environment. Average term length is 12 weeks, please contact for details on price.
Tennis in the Community

Croxley TC in partnership with Three Rivers District Council run drop in sessions at Scotsbridge Playing Field for 4-10 year olds on Saturdays 10.30-11.30am costing £3.
The session consists of skill builders, tennis games & activities.
For any grown ups who want to start playing an adult session takes place immediately after 11.30am - 12.30pm costing £3.
