Our Coaches - Croxley Tennis Club
At Croxley Tennis Club, our coaching team are able to offer a variety of coaching programmes for Adults, Juniors and Tots to suit all standards.

Our Adult Programmes offer both 1:1 coaching up to performance standard, Group Sessions, Cardio and Team Drills for those looking to sharpen their game under pressure. Our Junior Programmes include group sessions for TOTS, Orange and Red ball through to Squads, School Programmes and Junior 1:1 Coaching.

Croxley Tennis Club Coach - Samuel Ranger
Samuel Ranger
Accreditation: LTA Level 2 (Currently completing Level 3)
Coaches: Groups and 1-1 lessons, Mini Tennis, Junior Tennis, Adult Tennis, Schools Programme, Holiday Camps.
Standards: All ages - Beginner to Performance

Samuel has a huge amount of coaching experience, coaching all ages and abilities and believes lessons must be fun, engaging, and challenging.   Having started coaching when he was 16, he has coached players ranging from beginners to Grade 3 tournament winners.

As a player, Samuel was part of the White Hose Leisure Centre Performance Programme and represented both Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire, winning a County Championship along the way.

Samuel is also a trained actor and has appeared on ITV and at many London Theatres. This gives his lessons a personable, engaging, and joyful energy which he hopes will inspire as many people as possible to take up or continue playing tennis.


Croxley Tennis Club Coach - Brian Linskey
Brian Linskey
Accreditation: LTA Level 4 Performance Coach

Standards: Junior / Intermediate / County

Brian Linskey is a highly experienced tennis coach, player, consultant and motivator with over 50 years' experience in the game of tennis. His coaching history spans over 1986 years, and he embraces the philosophy "what you put into practice, you get out of play at all levels". Brian has previously coached a long list of players: former Wimbledon players, Essex and Herts County Squads, and the Macarbi British Team.

His previous development and UK Infrastructure experience includes club team growth, development and specialisation and consultation. Brian also previously worked on developing mini tennis in the UK along with club mark (tennis mark) and various licensing schemes for UK tennis coaching. Other achievements include winning the national Over 35s twice, and has previously held an LTA 2:1 rating. He has also represented the Great Britain Vets Club and held the former role of National Racquets Manager for David Lloyd.

He holds a Level 4 Performance Coach qualification and today holds a 6.2 rating.
